Angelo State releases planetarium fall schedule

The Angelo State University Planetarium will present 15 different full-dome public astronomy shows during its fall 2025 schedule, according to a news release.

The shows start on Wednesday in the Vincent Building at 2333 Vanderventer St.

The shows will run weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m. through Dec. 4, except for breaks in the schedule in October and November.

All of the shows are open to the public with admission prices of $3 for adults and $2 for children, active-duty military and senior citizens. ASU students, faculty and staff are free.

The season will also include the planetarium's 40th Anniversary Celebration in November, with more details to come, and will wrap up with multiple showings of the holiday program, "Season of Light."

Sept. 17 — Tales of the Maya Skies

Sept. 18 — Stars of the Pharaohs

Sept. 24 — T. Rex

Sept. 25 — Great White Shark

Oct. 1 — Flight of the Butterflies

Oct. 2 — Saturn: Jewel of the Heavens

Oct. 15 — The Story of Earth

Oct. 16 — Solar Superstorms

Oct. 29 — Great White Shark

Oct. 30 — T. Rex

Nov. 5 — Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West

Nov. 6 — The Cowboy Astronomer

Nov. 15 — Planetarium 40th Anniversary Celebration

Nov. 19 — Season of Light

Nov. 20 — Season of Light

Dec. 3 — Season of Light

Dec. 4 — Season of Light

Purchase of several of these shows was funded through ASU's Hispanic Serving Institution-Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
