A striking 1966 Chevrolet Nova Wagon, packed with modern performance upgrades, is set to cross the block at Mecum Auctions’ Harrisburg 2025 event on Saturday, July 26. Listed as Lot S242, this meticulously customized Nova blends classic wagon charm with contemporary street machine performance.

Finished in a bold Corvette Crystal Red Metallic paint, this Nova Wagon sports a 350-cubic-inch V-8 engine dressed with chrome accents and upgraded with FAST fuel injection for improved throttle response and reliability. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool radiator with an electric fan, while power is sent through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission to a 10-bolt rear end, giving it both cruising comfort and highway-friendly gearing.

Modern suspension components elevate this Nova’s driving experience. A Mustang II-style front suspension with tubular A-arms and power rack-and-pinion steering provides precise handling, while rear air shocks improve ride quality and adjustability. Braking is enhanced with front power disc brakes, adding stopping confidence to match its upgraded performance.

The wagon’s custom interior complements its refined mechanical upgrades. Tan bucket seats and a center console add a sporty touch, while Dakota Digital gauges integrated into the original cluster provide a mix of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. Other interior features include air conditioning, a tilt steering column, CD stereo, and tinted glass for added comfort.

Classic details, including a ducted hood, luggage rack, and 15-inch Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires, finish off the build.
