Explore Watch Week Aspen 2025: A Celebration of Rare Timepieces, CEO Talks, and Luxe Mountain Adventures

If you think luxury watch collecting is reserved for hushed boutique showrooms and invitation-only unveilings, think again, as Watch Week Aspen is rewriting the rules. Returning for its second year from August 7–9, 2025, this free, open-to-the-public horology festival transforms Aspen, Colorado, into the ultimate playground for collectors, connoisseurs, and the simply curious.

It’s part watch showcase, part mountain retreat: an experience where you can sip espresso alongside a Gerald Genta–designed timepiece, hike with legendary adventurer Jimmy Chin, try your hand at a Formula One simulator, and toast the sunset with the CEOs of the world’s top watch brands. This isn’t just a trade show or another festival. It’s a cultural moment.

The brand lineup reads like a collector’s dream: A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Omega, IWC, ZENITH, H. Moser & Cie., Glashütte Original, and more, alongside iconic retailers like Betteridge and Oliver Smith Jeweler. For serious enthusiasts, it’s an unprecedented opportunity to get up close with rare novelties and even witness world-first reveals from brands like Arnold & Son and Norqain.

This year’s programming raises the bar, blending horology with Aspen’s legendary outdoor lifestyle.
Hike with Jimmy Chin (Presented by Bremont): Join the Oscar-winning climber-filmmaker for a scenic trek, followed by a preview of Bremont’s newest collection.
Pickleball with Olympian Alex Ferreira (Presented by Norqain): Because watch collecting meets friendly competition.
Formula One Racing Simulator with H. Moser & Cie.: Go head-to-head in a high-octane hot lap challenge inspired by the Swiss brand’s F1 partnerships.

Add in coffee meetups, rooftop cocktail parties, and intimate CEO-led panels on technology, craftsmanship, and boutique relationships, and you’ve got three days that feel more like a luxury retreat than a convention.

“In many ways, Aspen is a watch lover’s paradise,” says Elizabeth Smith, Managing Director of Oliver Smith Jeweler and founder of Watch Week Aspen. “There are so many unique retailers and brands represented here that it seemed only natural to establish an event that celebrates this special place and our shared passion -wristwatches.”

Set against the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, the event also spotlights Aspen’s vibrant off-season charm, giving collectors and travelers alike a reason to experience the city beyond ski season.

Watch Week Aspen is free and open to the public, but registration is strongly encouraged for access to its most exclusive events and hosted excursions. For more information, visit the Watch Week Aspen website.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector hunting for your next grail watch or a newcomer curious about the world of haute horology, Watch Week Aspen is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most unique luxury experiences.
