SpaceX will launch two Falcon 9 rockets to deliver Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara this week.The first rocket, scheduled for July 30 with a window from 8:39 a.m. to 12:39 p.m., will launch 19 Starlink satellites in its 27th flight for the first stage booster. The second rocket, set for Aug. 2 with a window from 7:05 p.m. to 11:05 p.m., aims to send 24 Starlink satellites in its ninth flight for the first stage booster.These launches are part of the broader “Starlink Mission,” which is SpaceX’s internet service. “Starlink’s mission is to provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity across the globe,” according to Starlink.SpaceX’s Falcon 9 recently successfully launched 24 Starlink satellites on Saturday, July 26.

While Santa Barbara residents may hear sonic booms during the launch, according to SpaceX, Los Angeles residents may be able to view it. There will also be a live webcast beginning five minutes before the launch on SpaceX’s website, X, or the new X TV app.
