'70s Rock Legend Introduces 'More Somber and Atmospheric' Version of Iconic Song originally appeared on Parade.
If one man has been known for changing up the classics recently, it is certainly Pink Floyd bassist and chief songwriter Roger Waters. The rocker was in headlines recently for his reimagining of the iconic "Dark Side of the Moon," which saw him pivoting the album from prog rock to a more ambient, spoken word sound.
It seems this is a growing trend with Waters' music, as in conjunction with his "This Is Not A Drill" concert film, he has introduced a "more somber and atmospheric" version of "Comfortably Numb," the classic song from the landmark 1979 release "The Wall."
