The actress' husband is answering all the questions surrounding his wife's kiss with her co-star, Jonathan Bailey, with the ease of a breeze, and he has possible plans for retaliation.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost tied the knot in 2020 after a three-year relationship and are currently parents to two adorable children.

The SNL co-writer has just one thing to say about his wife's red carpet PDA with Bailey, and it is the fact that he does not see the actor as a threat to his marriage.

Lucky for him, Bailey is an openly gay man, which means Johansson is definitely out of bounds. However, the show of affection between the actors put a thought in Jost's head towards Bailey. According to him:

"Jonathan and I, at the 'Jurassic World Rebirth' red carpet, we were like, 'I guess we have to kiss now? Is that what happens?'"

Nevertheless, the choice of Bailey being his "threat" when it comes to his wife did not occur to him. "I guess in 'Jurassic Park' terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there," Jost noted.

At the end of his chat with Entertainment Tonight, Jost stated that people's decision to blow the kiss between his wife and Bailey out of proportion did not surprise him.

As noted by The Blast, the co-stars shared a kiss on the lips on both occasions in London and in New York City, respectively. Reacting to the reason why they decided to go that route, Bailey declared that it is one of the numerous ways he has learned to show love.

"And if you can't kiss your friends… life's too short not to," Bailey concluded. The stars were also joined by Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend, who both starred in the film.

Johansson not only caused conversations with the kiss, but she also stole the show with her stunning white Givenchy outfit, which featured a sweetheart neckline and a ruffled skirt. Her husband was right on theme with a matching white suit at the New York City event.

The actress recalled them leaning on each other to get through the harsh 103°F weather and a tough 90% humidity. They would reportedly indulge each other over group dinners, immersed in bouts of laughter.

"We didn't have much time to rehearse on this film. So just having the opportunity to spend as much time as we could doing stuff that was enjoyable was important," Johansson noted.

The filmmaker emphasized that she was excited to look forward to the memories created while she found a way through dangerous terrains during the course of filming.

The couple finally made their debut towards the end of the year at the American Museum of Natural History Gala in New York City. Jost popped the question two years later with a $450,000 engagement ring, and by 2020, they sealed the deal in an intimate ceremony with their friends and families.

The duo reportedly read out the jokes they had written during the joke swap segment, and Jost had to deliver a very scandalous line that Che had written about Johansson. The line, as shared by The Blast, read:

"Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu. But I ain't trippin'. I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid."

The delivery caught the actress by surprise as soon as the camera panned her to her and in a later interview, she felt like the ground was about to open up immediately after her expression was shown.

While the actress admitted she was given a heads-up about a possible vagina joke, she did not expect it would be so intensely delivered. At the end of the night, Johansson and her husband took stock of what a shocking night they both had and ended their conversation in laughter.
