Heading to the beach? Conde Nast says this Rhode Island town is the best to visit
It's beach season, and there's no shortage of great beach towns in Rhode Island.
And one of them recently landed on the Condé Nast Traveler list of the 17 best beach towns on the East Coast, which could make it exactly what you're looking for on a hot July day.
"Whether you're looking to lay out on the sand in summer or prefer walking along the water spotting wildlife and collecting rocks, the shores of the East Coast have a little something for everyone," Condé Nast stated on its website.

Why Newport, RI is No. 6 on the list
