Margot Robbie Broke Her Silence On Welcoming A Baby Last Year

Margot Robbie tends to keep things mum about her personal life, but she just made her first comments about becoming a parent last year.

Yes, the pun was intentional.

The 35-year-old has been with her husband, Tom Ackerley, for over a decade. Last November, it was reported that she had given birth to a baby boy, though the couple have declined to issue any further statements or share his name.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the release of her movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, Margot was asked how parenthood had "enriched" her life. "If you try to explain it to someone who has kids, you don't need to, 'cause they get it," she replied.

"And if they don't, it's probably just really boring to hear, so you're just kind of like, 'It's the best,'" she added.

Her co-star, Colin Farrell, echoed her sentiments, saying, "It's meant everything to me. Yet, I don't want to put that they're everything to me on them — but they are the most important facet of my life."

As it turned out, Margot's baby was on set with her throughout the junket that day, as she had to pause an interview with Access Hollywood to say with a smile, "I'm sorry about how loud my baby is."

Incidentally, Tom also works in the film industry and often produces alongside his wife. Last year, Margot said of her relationship with him, "I am so lucky. He likes being behind the camera, he's not phased by any of this stuff. He's just the best. It's so fun."
