Stars Of Our Favorite Christmas Movies Are Spending A Weekend In This Small Southern Town—Here’s How You Can Join Them

The stars are descending upon a small Southern town and you can join them too.

From July 25 through July 27, Dahlonega, Georgia will play host to Christmas in a Small Town, “a one-of-a-kind, ticketed convention that brings the magic of the holidays to life in July. Inspired by your favorite holiday movies and the warmth of a small town.”

Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with 11 stars of some of our favorite holiday movies including Kristoffer Polaha, Chad Michael Murray, Taylor Cole, and Tyler Hynes. There will be Q&A sessions and panels with the stars as well as themed bingo and trivia.

Dahlonega is not just the South’s favorite Christmas town, it has also served as the location for at least three Christmas movies. And while you’re in town for the convention, you can take a guided tour of several film locations. There will also be carriage rides around the downtown square, and breakfast with Santa. Oh, and an enchanted ball on Saturday night.

The whole town is rolling out the red (and green) carpet to celebrate Christmas in July with their visitors. Local businesses around the square are hosting a Christmas Crawl all weekend. Explore town, taste some holiday treats, and win a prize. Doesn’t get more Hallmark movie activity than that!
