Dolly Parton recently announced that she won't be making more new music any time soon, and now she's taken to Instagram to share heartfelt message with her fans about going home.

The Queen of Country shared a gorgeous portrait of herself looking into the light with her guitar on her back, and captioned it, "I still close my eyes and go home - I can always draw from that." She paired the photo with her 1973 hit song "In My Tennessee Mountain Home."

Dolly recently announced that she's going to be taking a hiatus from songwriting in the wake of her longtime husband Carl Dean's death in March. She told Khloe Kardashian on her podcast Khloé In Wonder Land that she's just not up for it at the moment.

"Several things I've wanted to start, but I can't do it," she shared. "I will later, but I'm just coming up with such wonderful, beautiful ideas. But I think I won't finish it ... I can't do it right now, because I got so many other things and I can't afford the luxury of getting that emotional right now."

The 79-year-old multi-platinum singer has never had anything but wonderful, fond things to say about both Carl and her humble upbringing in Tennessee. It's no wonder that she is spending time in her beloved Tennessee Mountain Home while she grieves the love of her life.

Fans flocked to the comments to show their support to the country legend with comments like, "Dolly, you are an absolute legend and deeply loved.
