Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Navigating a ‘Switch in the Balance of Power’ in Their Marriage (Exclusive)

Justin Timberlake was expecting to return home from tour and dive back into family life — but wife Jessica Biel has other plans, a source tells Star.
“If Justin had his way, they’d be together 24/7 and trying for another baby,” the source shares of the dad of two, who shares Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, with Biel. “He says family is everything to him right now.”
However, the Better Sister star, 43, has “projects to film and oversee, a wine label she’s just launched, plus on top of all that she’s a full-time mom,” the source explains. “She needs Justin to step up or at least be self-sufficient. She’ll help as much as she can when she has the time.”

However, as Star previously reported, the former ‘NSync singer had some major damage control to do in his marriage after he was arrested for DWI last summer.
Lumeimages / MEGAStill, Biel stood by her man — and now, it’s time to focus on herself. “It’s a real switch in the balance of power for these two: In years gone by, Jessica would drop everything to put Justin number one,” the source explains. “Now she seems content to have a somewhat separate life.”
As Star previously reported, Timberlake revealed in July after wrapping up the tour that he had been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, noting he was doing so to be “more transparent about my struggles so that they aren’t misinterpreted.”
Though the source admits Biel “feels badly for Justin,” the 7th Heaven alum is “proud of him for facing these health issues head-on.”
Still, that doesn’t mean she’s going to put her life on the back-burner anymore: “She’s got to take care of herself,” adds the source, “and keep the momentum with her thriving career.”
