Laguna Seca To Host Formula One Anniversary CelebrationIf you’ve been wanting to join in the Formula One 75th anniversary celebrations, Laguna Seca is hosting just such a thing. The Rolex Motorsports Reunion this year will feature 25 iconic F1 racecars, all of them from the 1966 to 1985 non-turbo era.
Porsche is now the official car of Laguna Seca.
The racing action will take place each day during the Mario Andretti Trophy race as 12-cylinder Formula One racecars from Ferrari, Lotus, Brabham, Tyrrell, and Williams go head-to-head on the circuit. It’s the perfect way to celebrate three quarters of a century of top-notch racing.
In addition, the anniversary celebration will include a display of over 30 especially rare F1 cars which aren’t often seen in public. They come from private collections and museums, assembled for the historic event. Never before has this collection of racecars been assembled and displayed together.
Image via WeatherTech Raceway Laguna SecaAmong the historic rides to be displayed are the 1956 Maserati 250F, 1966 Eagle Mk1, 1986 Benetton B186, and even the McLaren MCL38 driven by Lando Norris last season. Fans of F1 will be thrilled to get up close and study these iconic rides used by their favorite drivers.

“It is an amazing event and to see historic cars back where they belong, pushing the limits of speed and performance, is always a special moment for our fans. This is a fitting commemoration of 75 incredible years of Formula 1 and the sport’s evolution, and I want to thank everyone involved in making this moment a reality.”
The Rolex Motorsports Reunion will be held August 13 through 16 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
