
A recent leak from Pokemon GO is hinting at seventeen different Pokemon that may be coming to the mobile game in the near future, including several Mythical creatures. The massively popular monster-catching mobile game has brought plenty of new creatures to the game throughout recent months, launching several through special events. Pokemon GO introduced multiple new creatures to the game throughout July, including Hisuian Zoroark and the long-awaited addition of the Honedge line to the game. Now, a whole suite of Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's DLC may be joining the game soon.

The Teal Mask and Indigo Disc DLC expansions brought a plethora of new content to the most recent generation of Pokemon games. Each DLC pack introduced sizable new areas for players to traverse, with Teal Mask whisking players away to Kitakami Island and Indigo Disc adding Blueberry Academy to the game. The DLCs also each came with a variety of new Pokemon to capture, both adding older Pokemon and debuting some new Mythical Pokemon as well. Pokemon GO may now be gearing up to launch several Pokemon featured in the two expansions.
As reported by ComicBook, a recent datamine from trusted leakers The Pokemod Group shows seventeen Pokemon potentially coming to the game. The list of Pokemon includes several Paradox Pokemon found within the Scarlet and Violet DLC, including Walking Wake, Gouging Fire, and Raging Bolt among others. The leak also teases the featured new Legendary and Mythical Pokemon from the DLC, hinting at the introduction of Pokemon like Ogerpon and Terapagos. The leak does not provide any details about how the Pokemon will be implemented, though they will likely accompany a major in-game event.

Pokemon GO's laundry list of new Pokemon potentially coming to the game boasts more than just Paradox and Legendary Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's DLC expansions saw several new forms and evolutions added for previous Pokemon, like Dipplin and Hydrapple. The list includes each member of the "Loyal Three" from the Teal Mask DLC as well, with Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti all coming to Pokemon GO in the near future. Some of Pokemon GO's new Pokemon could also potentially align their release with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's third anniversary in November.

Pokemon GO fans should have lots to be excited about beyond the plethora of leaked Pokemon coming to the game. Niantic recently revealed a special event coming to celebrate the 2025 Pokemon World Championships later this month, with fans able to find a special Pikachu wearing a varsity jacket for a limited time. Pokemon GO will also have multiple events running throughout August, including a Shadow Raid for Kyogre and a Raid Day for Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia. Pokemon GO looks to have plenty in store to end the summer with a bang.
