Ready or Not has officially sold one million copies combined on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This sales achievement came within days of Ready or Not's much-awaited console launch, which took place on July 15.
Since its initial launch on PC in December 2023, Ready or Not has been a consistently popular game, drawing in thousands of players on a daily basis on Steam alone. After its successful debut, Void Interactive further released two expansions in the following year, helping the FPS sustain its player engagement. Most recently, Ready or Not was rolled out on consoles for the first time, in preparation for which certain in-game content was also censored across all its versions. Despite the backlash against the content changes, the tactical shooter title's console arrival seems to have done reasonably well in a short time.

PostsReady or Not hit the one million mark in sales across PlayStation and Xbox in "about 3.6 days," as revealed by Void Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez's LinkedIn post. To put this into perspective, the PC version of the game took 36 days to reach the same milestone—ten times longer than its console counterpart. Talking about the impressive feat, Rodriguez said that he is "incredibly proud" of the team and their accomplishment. He added that it was a "huge moment" for them. Moreover, the chief confirmed that the devs had already started work on "ironing out issues" in order to optimize player experience. The notably successful console launch comes as a major relief for the Irish studio, which has been experiencing a testing time with Ready or Not's PC version since announcing the censorship changes.
Ready or Not Crosses 1 Million Sales on Consoles
CloseDespite the ongoing review-bombing spree on Steam, Ready or Not has been going through a purple patch not only on consoles but also on PC. For instance, the game's concurrent player count has been on the rise since the Los Suenos Stories update that coincided with the console launch. At the time of writing, Ready or Not has reached a new peak of over 31K players, which is the highest since its initial release nearly two years ago. On the flip side, the "Recent Reviews" on its Steam page currently sits at "Mostly Negative."
Along with the widely criticized content changes, the latest Ready or Not update also brought numerous story and gameplay additions. Among the new items in the update are two missions, four weapons, and several other in-game improvements. While the engagement stemming from the new content drop has been fairly pleasant for Void Interactive devs, they are yet to effectively convince players to stop flooding the game's Steam page with negative reviews.
