A recently surfaced rumor suggests the announcement of Electronic Arts' next major title, Battlefield 6, is just around the corner. Leaks surrounding the next entry in the Battlefield franchise have been emerging with increasing frequency over the past few months, as developers struggle to stem the flow of information being revealed to the public ahead of the game’s official promotional cycle.
Most recently, a dataminer claimed to have found evidence of a Battle Royale mode in Battlefield 6, sharing a video clip that has since been removed via a copyright claim, a move that seemingly supports its authenticity. EA appears to be cracking down hard on any and all leakers as they are discovered by having their posts taken down as soon as they catch the public eye.

New Battlefield Gameplay Footage Leaked
New leaks from EA's next Battlefield game show off some impressive new footage of the game's environments and sound design.
Posts 2Per InsiderGaming, streamer and YouTuber DooM49 shared a screenshot of a Battlefield 6 promotional package in a now-deleted Twitter post, reportedly delivered directly from EA. “Battlefield 6” was printed in large, bold letters on the silver suitcase’s front. Bright red straps were wrapped around the case, with familiar terms like “Breakthrough,” “Conquest,” and “Rush,” likely signaling the return of these game modes in Battlefield 6.
Deleted Twitter Post Shows Battlefield 6 Promotional Package
CloseSpeculation suggests that the Battlefield 6 package arrived under embargo, and the leaker was not supposed to share any information about it until the official go-ahead. It’s likely they realized the mistake after the fact from community reaction or were ordered by EA to take it down to prevent the news from spreading further. Nonetheless, a screenshot of the leak is making the rounds on social media and has been picked up by media outlets. Doom49 has not made another post on his page since the leak.
Promotional materials of this nature are typically sent out just a few days or weeks ahead of an official reveal so that sponsorship partners can immediately capitalize on the wave. If the leak is authentic, this means that the official announcement for Battlefield 6 should be arriving sooner rather than later, as EA wouldn’t have sent out these packages if it was still months away. This also indicates that other creators in the space selected for promoting the game have also received, or are about to receive, the very same suitcases.
Marketing for EA’s upcoming title has been ramping up recently, lending further credence to rumors of an impending announcement for the title. Most recently, a Battlefield Labs community revealed more details regarding Battlefield 6’s class and weapon system and how EA will approach game balance while keeping weapons unlocked for all archetypes.
