Zenless Zone Zero Reveals New Character Yuzuha's Gameplay
When Yuzuha lands a heavy attack with her EX Special Attack, enemies will enter a Sweet Scare state that lasts for a period of time. Upon activating this skill, Yuzuha recovers some Sugar Points. When the skill hits an enemy, Quick Assist will be triggered. Sugar Point: When Yuzuha enters the battlefield, she immediately gains 3 Sugar Points. She can have up to a maximum of 6 Sugar Points. When Yuzuha hits enemies with certain skills, she applies Tanuki Wish to all squad members, granting ATK and DMG Bonus to the whole squad. When Yuzuha has Sugar Points, if the active character hits an enemy with their attack, Yuzuha will launch Basic Attack: Hard Candy Shot around the enemy. When this attack lands a heavy hit, Yuzuha will consume 1 Sugar Point. Basic Attack: Hard Candy Shot is an Aftershock, and can only be triggered once within a period of time. Enemies inflicted with Sweet Scare will be hit by Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles once per second. Enemies affected by Sweet Scare will be attacked by a Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles when hit with a heavy attack from Basic Attack: Hard Candy Shot or Assist Follow-Up: Stuffed Hard Candy Shot. When an enemy affected by Sweet Scare is hit for the first time by an active character using an attack of the same attribute, Flavor Match will be triggered on that enemy, changing the attribute of Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles and Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles - Max against that enemy to match the attribute of the character who triggered Flavor Match. When Sweet Scare is triggered again on an enemy, their existing Flavor Match state is removed. The process can be repeated to change the attribute of Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles and Basic Attack: Sugarburst Sparkles - Max again. Ultimate: Surrender or Suffer the Mischief: Unleashes powerful strikes to surrounding enemies over a large area, dealing Physical DMG. When Yuzuha lands a heavy attack on an enemy, they will enter a Sweet Scare state that lasts for a period of time. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Upon activating this skill, Yuzuha recovers some Sugar Points, and other squad members recover Energy. When the skill hits an enemy, it will trigger Quick Assist. Additional Ability: The More the Merrier: When Yuzuha's Anomaly Mastery exceeds a certain amount, for each point above that threshold, characters with the Tanuki Wish effect will gain Anomaly Buildup Rate, as well as increased Attribute Anomaly DMG and Disorder DMG.
Alongside Yuzuha's unique mechanics, the post also gives a hint at her passive Additional Ability and her signature W-Engine. Yuzuha's Additional Ability provides buffs for her "Tanuki Wish" buff when reaching a certain threshold for Anomaly Mastery, offering bonus Anomaly Buildup Rate, Attribute Anomaly DMG, and Disorder DMG. Yuzuha's W-Engine looks to benefit characters focused around Physical DMG and Attribute Anomaly, increasing both Anomaly Mastery and Proficiency. Yuzuha will release with Version 2.1, scheduled to launch on July 16.
